Customer Accounts
In order to purchase Goods on this Web Site you are required to create an Account which will contain certain personal details and Payment Information. It is recommended that you do not share your Account details, particularly your username and password. West End Beds accepts no liability for any losses or damages incurred as a result of your Account details being shared by you. If you use a shared computer, it is recommended that you do not save your Account details in your internet browser.
Termination and Cancellation
Either West End Beds or you may terminate your Account.
If West End Beds terminates your Account, any current or pending purchases on your Account will be cancelled and will not be dispatched.
West End Beds reserves the right to cancel purchases without stating reasons prior to dispatch.
If purchases are cancelled for any reason prior to dispatch you will be refunded any monies paid in relation to those purchases.
West End Beds will not be liable for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.
Goods, Pricing and Availability
Whilst every effort has been made to ensure that all graphical representations and descriptions of Goods available from West End Beds correspond to the actual Goods, West End Beds is not responsible for any variations from these descriptions. This does not exclude our liability for mistakes due to negligence on our part and refers only to variations of the correct Goods, not different Goods altogether. Please refer to Clause 15.1 for incorrect Goods.
West End Beds does not represent or warrant that Goods will be available. Stock indications provided on the Web Site may not be accurate.
All pricing information on the Web Site is correct at the time of going online. West End Beds reserves the right to change prices and alter or remove any special offers from time to time and as necessary.
Delivery
Goods purchased from our website will be shipped to you directly by our suppliers. We will forward your name, address and telephone number to them for the purpose of shipment only.
Although we do our best to deliver Goods in good time, we cannot however guarantee this. We will notify you by way of email once your Goods have been despatched to you.
Returns Policy
Goods can only be returned if they are in unused saleable condition. The customer is responsible to ensure that all items including parts and accessories are returned in original box and packaging. If any shortages are found, we reserve the right to make appropriate deductions from refund.
If you decide to return/exchange an item, please email us on sales@westendbeds.co.uk to request a returns authorisation reference within 7 working days of receipt of goods. Once we have issued the authorisation reference, you must ensure that goods are returned within 5 working days of receiving the returns authorisation reference from us.
You must check the goods thoroughly prior to accepting delivery. If any kind of error, shortage or damage is found, you must not accept delivery and contact us as soon as possible. By signing for the goods, you are confirming that goods are delivered undamaged. We will not accept any claims once goods have been signed for. We will only issue refunds and exchanges upon our receipt and inspection of goods and may take up to 28 days to process.
Warranty
We sell brand new goods supplied in their original packaging. The Bedsteads and Mattresses are covered under 90 days Manufacturers Warranty, starting from their original date of purchase.
The warranty only covers malfunction resulting from manufacturing defects and covers all parts and labour. It does not include wear and tear, and negligence, error and recklessness on the part of the user. Repairs and/or alterations carried out by anyone other than us or our authorised repairers will also void the warranty.
You must contact us within 90 days of purchase. An email to sales@westendbeds.co.uk would suffice. Please include your order number and delivery postcode in the email.
We will assess the claim and if necessary, send you a replacement part for home assembly. If a full replacement is necessary, we’ll check our stock and advise you accordingly. Where we do not have the same / similar goods, we will send you goods of equal value from our stock. It may take up to 28 days to process warranty claims. A refund will not be issued where a warranty is claimed.
A handling charge of £29.00 will be applied to all warranty related claims to cover our return postage and packaging.
Privacy
